Class #7, Wild Cat Summer, July 17 to 20

WILD CATS SUMMER by Instructor Artist Raquel Hinojosa

Students will become familiar and learn about Felidae Species or Wild Cats from around the world. This year, we are offering Eleven Weeks of Summer Art Workshops. Each week will feature three to four Wild Cats. Students will explore their creative side by using different media as they Draw and Paint on paper. They will create original works of art related to the Felidae Genus of the WeekStudents will finish a painting per class.   All materials are provided by Gallery.

• Class 1 June 5 -8, “Lion, Leopard & Jaguar" Panthera Genus” Painting & Drawing Class.
• Class 2 June 12 - 15, “Tiger, Snow Leopard & Mainland Clouded Leopard” Painting & Drawing Class.
• Class 3 June 19 - 22, “Asiatic Golden Cat, Bornean Bay Cat & Marbled Cat” Painting & Drawing Class.
• Class 4 June 26 - 29, “Caracal, African Golden Cat & Serval” Painting & Drawing Class.
• Class 5 July 3 - 6, “Geoffroy’s Cat, Guina-Kodkod & Northern Tiger Cat” Painting & Drawing Class.
• Class 6 July 10 - 13, “Margay, Pampas Cat & Ocelot" Painting & Drawing Class.
• Class 7 July 17 - 20, “Iberian Lynx, Canada Lynx & Bobcat" Painting & Drawing Class.
• Class 8 July 24 - 27, “Puma, Jaguarundi & Cheetah" Painting & Drawing Class.
• Class 9 July 31 - 3, “Mainland Leopard Cat, Sunda Leopard Cat & Fishing Cat" Painting & Drawing Class.
• Class 10 Aug 7 - 10, “Flat-headed Cat, Rusty-spotted Cat & Pallas's Cat" Painting & Drawing Class.
• Class 11 *Aug 22 - 25, “Sand Cat, Black-footed Cat, Chinese Mountain Cat & European Wildcat" Painting & Drawing Class.

Tuition Cost , Age Group & Schedule

$105 child/per class.

Ages 5 – 12 yrs. Limit of 8 students per class.

Monday to Thursday from 1pm to 4pm

All materials are provided plus Light Snack & Water.

Available days for Private Party are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 9am to 12pm

All classes include Drawing with pencils and oil pastels and Painting with mix media like acrylics and watercolors.   Students are provided with aprons but should also wear appropriate clothing that might get stained with paint.  

These Classes are taught by Professional Artists and include Step-by-Step Instructions.  Students should be prepare to follow instructions to take advantage of full experience.
