Maize — Acrylic Painting
A study of maize in acrylic.
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Hinovations Art Gallery presents Maize, the first painting in our Still Life: Hispanic Heritage Painting Series.
Inspired by one of the most recognizable foods of the Americas, students will create an expressive acrylic painting of maize, exploring its warm yellows, layered greens, shapes, shadows, and natural textures. Guided instruction will introduce color mixing, brushwork, layering, and composition while allowing each painter to develop their own interpretation.
This relaxed two-hour painting session is designed to give students time to paint, learn new techniques, and enjoy the creative process.
Kids Session: Guided step-by-step instruction adapted for young artists.
