About the Event
Ocean Creatures: An ArtVenture with Sea Life, Drawing, Painting & Mixed Media Class for Kids ages 12 to 18
Instructor Artist Raquel Hinojosa
This weekly summer painting session for ages 12+ invites older students to explore the beauty of ocean giants through creative, hands-on art. Inspired by whales and marine life, students will create canvas paintings while exploring techniques such as layering, texture, color blending, and composition.
Designed for older students, the class offers a more relaxed studio atmosphere with greater creative freedom and personal expression. Guided instruction is balanced with independent work time, helping students strengthen their artistic skills and confidence while creating a collection of whale-inspired artwork throughout the summer.
This class meets once a week on Tuesdays from 5 pm to 7 pm. The scheduled dates are
June 2, 9, 16, and 23. All materials included.
