About the Event
What Grows Quietly - Botanicals Watercolor Painting Class for Adults
Thursdays | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
This is an on-going Class, happening every Thursday.
Hinovations Art Gallery, McAllen, TX
What Grows Quietly is an ongoing watercolor class for adults centered on painting botanical subjects—leaves, stems, flowers, seed pods, and natural forms found in everyday life. Each week, students will explore a different plant-inspired subject, allowing time to slow down, observe closely, and build watercolor skills at a comfortable pace.
This class focuses on fundamental watercolor techniques such as layering, color mixing, brush control, and working with water, while encouraging a relaxed and mindful approach to painting. Subjects may be realistic or loosely interpreted, giving students space to develop their own style while learning to see the subtle beauty in natural forms.
